IPAF Operator Training

The IPAF courses are managed at our IPAF Accredited Training Centre and taught by our own IPAF certified instructors. The course will be completed in one day and is directed through a combination of theory and practical assessments – these are conducted in our fully-equipped training rooms and yard.

The IPAF training courses are tailored to suit each category depending which course you enrol on. We have an extensive fleet of MEWPS (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms), including Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts, Vertical Platforms, Static Booms, Self-Propelled Booms, Telescopic Booms and Articulating Booms. All our MEWPS are put into the below Categories:

• IPAF 3A Training – Scissor Lifts and Vertical Platforms
• IPAF 3B Training – Self-Propelled Boom, Articulated booms and Telescopic booms
• IPAF 1B Training – Trailer Mounted booms. We can train you on your own Vehicle Mounted Boom providing you have all the necessary documentation.

Once you have successfully completed the course you will receive a digital PAL card, which enables the user to operate the machine they have been trained on competently. The digital PAL card is stored on the ePAL app on your mobile phone, and can be downloaded from your app store.

We also offer multiple categories if you wish to be trained on more than one MEWP. On the day of your training course your photograph will be taken, which will be displayed on your PAL card.

Please note that if you have any language barriers/reading/writing/requirements, please inform our staff prior to the day of the course and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
